IRVINE, California, November 3, 2017 – McDermott & Bull, one of the largest executive search firms within the Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Recruiters list, as well as one of Forbes’ Best Executive Recruiting Firms, has been retained by Evangelical Christian Credit Union (ECCU) to lead their search for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

This executive recruiting engagement is being conducted by Brandon Biegenzahn, President of McDermott & Bull and Financial Institutions Practice Co-Chair; Bill Brewer, Principal Consultant; and Chris Pring, Recruiting Associate at McDermott & Bull.

This newly appointed Chief Marketing Officer will be charged with building out a cohesive and synergistic marketing and business development organization.  ECCU is seeking to develop a clear, intelligent, and easy to understand brand.  The CMO will drive the brand through the development of market driven products and services, as well as leverage market data to determine the products and services the market is seeking.  These products will be developed with input from member focus groups, representing member communities.  Additionally, the CMO will be tasked with cultivating strategic partnerships to further drive product development.  ECCU will seek likeminded (strategy fit), mission-minded (values fit) organizations that provide complimentary products and services as partners in delivering value to its members.

This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Chris Bull, Managing Partner; Rob Gross, Associate Principal Consultant; and Brittany Rausch, Recruiting Associate at McDermott & Bull.  According to Bull, “Rob has the leadership background, as well as the technical knowledge, to make large strides when it comes to the procurement process.  We are excited to see the impact he’ll make at E.B. Tupper started his career in logistics at Helen’s Foods before joining Conagra Foods as a Materials Manager, responsible for directing all functions of purchasing, planning, and inventory departments within the plant.  Most recently, Tupper was Director of Procurement at Safariland, where he managed fifteen distribution centers across the US, handled vendor/supplier relationships, and was responsible for the daily movement of goods between facilities.

Tupper received a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from Colorado State University.
