McDermott & Bull Finds Chief Information Officer for SAFE Credit Union

IRVINE, California, July 26, 2017McDermott & Bull, one of the largest executive search firms within the Hunt Scanlon Top 50 Recruiters list, as well as one of Forbes’ Best Executive Recruiting Firms, is pleased to announce the successful appointment of Eric Wilson as Chief Information Officer with SAFE Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in California.

Wilson earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph.

Following an active deployment in Iraq with the Marine Corps, where he led platoons of over 100, Smith had an opportunity to join SourceOne.  In his first few weeks as an Assistant Controller, he was tasked with the integration of Johnson Controls bolt-on acquisition.  Following Veolia’s strategic acquisition of SourceOne in 2007, Smith was a key player in the post-acquisition integration and growth of the finance & accounting function.  Due to this success, in 2010, Veolia management handpicked him to lead and launch the company’s West Coast operation.  Most recently, Smith served as VP of Operations of the company’s Southern California territory.

Smith received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
