Interim Head of Logistics Appointed by MB Interim Leaders at Multi-Billion Dollar National Healthcare Company

IRVINE, California, May 9, 2017 – MB Interim Leaders (MBIL) announced the successful appointment of the interim Head of Logistics at a multi-billion dollar national healthcare company.

This interim executive leader search was conducted by Rebecca Miller, MBIL’s Vice President of Sales.  After a recent vacancy by the Head of Logistics, the healthcare company had an urgent need for an interim Head of Logistics with large scale direct to consumer distribution and final mile optimization experience to streamline processes and efficiencies surrounding route optimization and scheduling.  The interim leader placed by MBIL possessed this niche skillset and within a short time frame of MB Interim Leaders receiving the request, he was hired and placed onsite.  Since his assignment began, he has effectively streamlined efficiencies and implemented changes to optimize the final mile distribution.

The interim leader has over fifteen years of experience leading operations and logistics teams at companies including Ann Taylor and Diedrich Coffee.  He has held direct responsibility for reengineering processes for final mile deliveries in industries including floral and gifting, apparel, and food service.

Clouatre started his career at Gulfstream as a flight test engineer, and during his eighteen-year tenure, rose to the role of Director of Product Marketing.  He later joined Embraer as Vice President of Marketing, where among being tasked with leading the marketing effort that put the company on the map in the corporate aircraft market, he worked closely with the head of customer service to create the world-class customer support organization required to compete in the corporate jet marketplace.  Over the next few years, Embraer went from #7 to #3 in the industry in customer support ranking, eventually achieving the #1 ranking.  Clouatre also led the marketing initiatives at both Eclipse Aircraft and start-up super-sonic corporate aircraft company Arion, and is widely credited with making these companies major players in the eyes of their target audiences.

Clouatre earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia Southern University.

Clancy began his career in the military after completing an undergraduate degree as an ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate of the Army Logistics School.  From 2001 to 2003, he served as a Junior Military Officer with several leadership roles within Warehousing, Transportation, Maintenance and Human Resources.  He was then hand-selected, from over 160 Junior Officers, as the General’s Aid to work with the General Officer and other senior Army leaders.  In 2004, Clancy was deployed overseas as a Logistics Officer and Captain, where he held the two most senior logistics positions within a 600 personnel organization.  He was also awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service and leadership.  In 2005, after an honorable discharge from the United States Army, Clancy was recruited to Nestle USA, where he has spent the entirety of his professional civilian career.  He grew quickly in his roles and leadership responsibilities, beginning as a Supply Planner and then becoming Product Supply Manager.  In 2008, Clancy was selected to join and build a start-up location as an Operations Manager and was promoted two years later as General Manager to lead a team of 175 employees.  Since 2014, he has served successfully as the Demand Planning & International Logistics Compliance Manager.

Clancy received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

McDermott & Bull Europe Adds Serge Spoelstra as Principal Consultant
