IRVINE, California, August 23, 2016 – MB Interim Leaders (MBIL) is pleased to announce the successful appointment of the interim Group Manager, Information Security at one of the nation’s largest automobile insurance companies.

The company has been a client of McDermott & Bull for several years, due to their strong relationship with Craig Lipus, Partner at McDermott & Bull.  When the company’s current Group Manager, Information Security submitted his resignation, they requested Craig’s assistance in finding an individual to replace the incumbent.  The need was pressing, as in order to make a smooth transition, it was crucial to find a service industry-experienced replacement prior to the incumbent’s exit.

Based on the urgency of the request, Craig introduced the company to MB Interim Leaders and Rebecca Miller, MBIL’s VP of Sales, to help find an interim Group Manager, Information Security for the transitional period.  Within a few days of receiving the request, MBIL’s interim Group Manager, Information Security was hired and placed on-site.  After only a few months, the company determined that MBIL’s interim leader was the correct individual for the full-time role and he successfully transitioned into the permanent Group Manager, Information Security position.

MBIL’s interim leader has over fourteen years of experience serving as the VP of Enterprise Infrastructure and SVP, Chief Information Officer at service industry-leading companies such as Alorica and ACC Capital Holdings Corporation.  He will be responsible for collaborating with IP Architects and the business to provide direction on active IT projects, managing the Vendor Risk Management program, and overseeing the Security Operations Center.
